Women’s Ministries

Women on Mission is a mission organization for ladies of all ages. The group at MVBC meets the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. on the first floor of the education building. At each meeting there is a short devotion, each Southern Baptist missionary with a birthday that day is lifted up in prayer and then the ladies learn about missionaries, ministries or other ministry needs. The women share the love of Christ by supporting selected ministries on an on-going basis while also participating in local ministry projects as needs arise.

Our women regularly hold small-group meetings, usually at a member’s home. One study was called “Water Lillies,” in which the ladies learned about some of the extraordinary women in the Bible.
